Southern Link Travel Terms and Conditions

  1. All baggage must be clearly labelled. Unlabelled baggage will be carried at owners risk.
  2. Passengers must be clearly visible to the coach driver at all pick-up points at the specified time, or they may miss the Bus and the no refund policy will apply.
  3. The service provided is NOT door to door. It may be possible to arrange pick-up or drop-off on OUR ROUTE at passengers own risk and with prior notification.
  4. Bikes $10.00 Owners Risk, Skis/Snowboards $10.00 Owners Risk. Excess luggage over 2 normal suitcases $5.00 per item.
  5. A $5.00 Pick-up and Drop-off surcharge to Nelson and Christchurch Airports may be charged.
  6. Children accompanied by an adult pay half fare. Unaccompanied children pay full fare. (Children 12 yrs & under). The company reserves the right to refuse carriage of unaccompanied children under 8 years old.
  7. Changes to schedules may be necessary to cater for operational situations, road conditions and other unforseen circumstances.
  8. Timetables & Prices may alter at any time. Please check with the company or Ticket agents.
  9. Substitute vehicles may be used by Southern Link Travel to transport passengers and/or their luggage. Southern Link Travel will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of any abandonment of or delay during the trip.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Bookings canceled with 12 hours notice - 50% REFUND.
  • Bookings canceled with less than 12 hours before travel - NO REFUND
  • Once a ticket has been transferred, the ticket is then non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • All bookings must be paid for at the time of booking.

  • Southern Link connects with other bus services across the South Island and into the North Island as well.
